The Department of Science and Technology, International Cooperation and Resources, South Africa (DST) is the primary agent of South Africa’s research and innovation policy. Objectives of the International Cooperation and Resources programme are to strategically develop, promote and manage international relationships, opportunities and science and technology agreements that strengthen the National System of Innovation (NSI) and enable an exchange of knowledge, capacity and resources between South Africa and its regional and international partners.
